With everything going on, we want to address a question we have been receiving quite often.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY MANIKIN TO BE UP TO STANDARDS WITH COVID-19?
Prestan Products always recommends cleaning your CPR manikins thoroughly after each class. Along with cleaning the outside torso and face, you want to make sure you are opening the manikin and wiping the chest foam and skin to sanitize the inside as well. You can use a mixture of soap and water to clean the manikin effectively. If the area is extremely dirty, you can also use common household cleaners such as Formula 409, Windex, or Vim. Clorox or Lysol wipes can also be gently applied to clean them if needed.
Shipping regulations mean a big change for Prestan CPR products, but MCR Medical has a solution
Batteries are no longer included in Prestan CPR Products sold in the U.S. and overseas! In a recent email to vendors, Prestan expressed regret for this decision but stated that international shipping regulations make the change necessary as of January 1,2020.
Prestan Manikins will no longer come with batteries! They’re as shocked as we are!
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
Hopefully, you already have your Prestan CPR products and all is well! But if you’re making a new purchase or plan to order soon, be aware that you’ll need to supply the batteries to get your CPR manikins and AED trainers class-ready.

This change affects all the products in the Prestan line up, including:
Professional Series Manikins with feedback- all models, 2 AA batteries per manikin
Ultralite Manikins with Feedback Piston installed – 2 AA batteries per unit
Ultralite Manikins Replacement/Upgrade Piston Feedback Unit – 2 AA batteries per unit
AED Trainers – 3 to 4 C batteries, depending on model
Keep in mind to multiply those numbers when purchasing kits with multiple manikins!
We’ve got your back
Luckily, MCR Medical has a stash of AA batteries and are beginning to offer them as an option for purchase as a set of 2 for $0.60! This will be available, as of now, for any type of manikin purchase. This means that if you purchase an adult, child, infant or manikin kit, you will have the option to purchase AA batteries.
Buy 2 AA batteries for $0.60 with the purchase of your manikin!
In order for the pop up box containing the offer to appear, please make sure you click on the item you would like to purchase so that it takes you to the product page (the page with the full description of the product). Once you are on the product page, you are able to add the item to the cart and a pop up box offering batteries will appear. Completing this step is the only way that you will have the option to purchase batteries with your manikin. If you are buying a kit, please keep in mind that each Prestan manikin requires 2 AA batteries each.
Please Note: At this time, MCR Medical will not be offering any C batteries for the Prestan AEDs.

Prestan Adult Manikins withNOSE HOLES! The Prestan Professional Series manikins will now have life-like nose holes on the face skin. This feature was put into effect on October 3rd and will now be on all new Prestan Adult Manikins (PP-AM-100M-MS). If you for some reason need a replacement face skin, you will receive an updated version with the new nose holes. You can view the new product update in the picture below!

Please Note…
The new nose holes on the manikin’s face skin are for visual purposes only. This means that they are not fully functioning – air willnot flow through the nose holes into the lung bags! They are meant to stimulate a realistic nose pinch and enhance the overall look of the manikin. Prestan is working hard to make their CPR Manikins as realistic as possible for their customer, and we are super excited about the updates they are making!

A Few Details to Discuss
There are a lot of options when it comes to what you can get inside of your personalized kit. For it to qualify as a kit, you must have at least one CPR manikin and one AED. There are a lot of additional products and accessories offered throughout the kit building experience that you can select and make custom to your specific training needs. Various products that we sell have a warranty of up to 3-years, and EVERY order comes with fast and free shipping.
Different Product Options
There are multiple options for products offered in the build-a-kit package. For example, you can get three different sizes of manikins. Those sizes are adult, child, and infant. Along with size, you can get your manikins with or without a feedback monitor. If you want one manikin, we have a single option, but we also have a 4-pack. Want more than one size? Perfect, we have multiple different pre-selected combinations and we also have a family pack. If you need an AED for your training, they come in singles and 4-packs, and you have 4 different AED options to choose from to best fit your needs.
