Morrison Named by Judge Christopher J. Brown to the Mt. Sterling Public Library Board of Trustees

Madison County Probate Judge Christopher J. Brown appointed Charles R. Morrison III to the Mt. Sterling Library Board of Trustees for a seven-year term commencing immediately through 2029.

Charlie Morrison, a resident of rural Mt. Sterling, is the founder and president of MCR Medical, a multi million-dollar e-commerce business that is the market leader in providing CPR training devices as well as first aid and emergency supplies throughout North America. Charlie and his late wife and business partner, Karen Morrison, identified youth reading as a primary pillar of their philanthropic efforts years ago. In fulfilling this commitment, the Morrisons and MCR Medical have sponsored the Library’s Summer Reading Program for several years and actively contribute to the Library’s Little Free Library Pantry through food and book drives. Morrison is a zealous advocate of intellectual freedom and is committed to the library’s importance as a center of information, of community culture, recreation, and continuing education.
