- Doing at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity a week (or, just getting started with a 10-minute walk!)
- Eating healthy

- Controlling blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure
- Not smoking or vaping
- Maintaining a healthy weight
- Wash your hands often

Go Red for Women
Who rules the world? GIRLS! Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative to increase women’s heart health awareness. For decades, the Go Red movement has encouraged people to live healthier and for longer, free of heart disease and stroke. Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red Day! AHA encourages everyone to wear red on this day to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and ultimately, to help save lives!
