I like it

I have been teaching since the 1980s and although I believe in scientific data and changes, I am frustrated with the cost when there really aren't that many changes from 2020 to 2025.
I love learning new information, but when there isn't much change for the basics.....I laughed when back blows are used to start the choking intervention because most parents in the 1950s already used this method.
It is hard to encourage people to take the course when I have to charge so much to cover book and supplies. I was fortunate to get a grant for my prestons a few years back, otherwise I borrowed all the time from the Ambulance folks. I had a student that wanted to be an instructor until he found out how expensive it was to start.
Otherwise, I will continue to teach and offer free Hands only Classes at our local Library- just to get people interested.
